My ultimate goal is to play baseball in college. I am looking for a school that will fit my academic and career aspirations, and a team with strong leadership and a great sense of team and brotherhood. I feel that my teammates are my brothers, and I want that to be a part of the program I play for at the college level. Baseball has been a passion of mine ever since I was that little boy on a T-ball field. Settling for being average was never something I was willing to do. I love pushing my limits in both the classroom and on the baseball field. I work every day on my swing and and on my throwing both in and out of season. People always want to ask what gets you excited, or what gets inside you. For me, that's baseball.
I have been a three sport athlete since I was five years old, but baseball was always my love. I started with little league, then made my middle school team as a 6th grader among the 8th graders, and then became a freshmen starter on my high school team where I was awarded Most Improved Freshmen and as a sophomore I was awarded the Golden Glove Award. What sets me apart is my work ethic both on the field and in the classroom. I never let up for a second. While playing three sports I am able to maintain a 3.9 GPA while taking Honors and Advanced Placement courses. This illustrates my strong work ethic and determination. What I have learned through my baseball experience is that nothing is given. If you want it you have to go get it, or you will be just another guy on the bench. I refuse the just sit on the bench. I want to be a player athletically, academically, and in life.
