As a little kid I was very athletic , I grew up with three basketball players I always liked basketball but I wanted to try something else . I ended up trying baseball and since that first day I loved it . Playing baseball felt like an escape from everything in life . I was always told that if I didn’t have good grades I wouldn’t be able to play so I always made it a priority to have good grades . Being born and raised in Puerto Rico was definitely an influence to why I wanted to keep playing baseball at the next level . As I grew up the competition got harder but that just motivated me to work harder and be the best player / athlete I could be . As I grew up I realized that baseball was definitely something I wanted to do for a living . Baseball not only made me happy it gave me a chance to express my self. Developing my skills in baseball were not my only priority’s, being a leader on and off the field was something I tried to really focus on as a key player on my team . One thing that I live by is that hard work pays off but also giving 110% to everything I do no matter what . I will promise any college that I play for that I will be the hardest worker you have on you’re team , I will leave everything I got all out on the field every single game because I know that without today there is no tomorrow . I will be sure to show characteristics that you will be proud to represent your university on and off the field .
