Nick Richir '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'2' shortstop from Cape Coral, Florida. I was brought up to Varsity while I was on the J.V. team during my freshman year at Ida Baker High School. I have a 4.0 GPA, a 24 on the ACT, and a 1280 on the SAT, which I will be retaking on Nov. 2nd. I am looking for a college where I can find the right balance between academics and baseball. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the Engineering field. My goal as an athlete is to make an immediate contribution to the team using my athleticism. I have played in 24 Perfect Game Tournaments and recently received an Honorable Mention in the 2018 PG Preseason Underclassmen All American Teams Tournament. Also, my team, SWFL Nations 2020, was named the WWBA Champion in the 2018 PG 16U Southeast Championship Tournament and the PG Super25 Champions in the 2018 PG Super25 16U Florida Super Qualifier Championship Tournament. Although, my starting position is shortstop, I can also pitch, catch, and can play any other position.
