Played baseball since I was 4 years old & never wanted to do anything else. I love the science behind the sport too & have done several science fair projects on velocity/ exit velocity etc when I was younger alongside Florida Baseball ranch using their facility to do my research when I was going there for training in 6th, 7th & 8th grade.
I play varsity for my high school Santa Fe Catholic Lakeland, I'm team captain & play Travel ball team since 12u. I can play any MIF position mainly play 2nd or SS. I am extremely coachable. I have a great attitude & love to keep my team mates positive on & off the field.
My parents saw my passion & support me by allowing me to train with experienced coaches including Detroit flying Tigers hitting coach Rafael Gil, baseball camps with Lance Neikro.
I'm currently training at Fortuna Training Facility in Plant City every day after school if I don't have a game where I workout strength agility & speed all designed for baseball players. I meal prep (5-6 meals per day) to make sure I am getting enough nutritious calories & even take them to school as well as school lunches & protein shakes to help build & maintain muscle. I know the importance of hard work & short & long term goals as in-between little league games & practices I trained in Tai Kwon Do & worked my way up to 1st degree black belt.
My goal is to play college ball & my absolute goal is to go Pro & I understand I have to work harder & smarter than my competition to achieve it.
I work hard to maintain a high GPA. Catholic highschool can be more demanding academically than a public school & as much as I want to play ball I make sure school & my grades come first. My family is very important to me for if it wasn't for them i wouldn't have had the great training this far & I appreciate their support, they have a high work ethic which I strive to maintain no matter what I do in life but I feel I was born to play ball & would be honored to continue it through college & beyond.
I feel I would be a great asset to a college team for I am constantly wanting to progress & learn as much as possible about the game, enjoy being with a team who want to succeed, I bring positivity to the dugout & want to see my teammates grow & a team that are having fun always succeed the most. I give it everything because that's what I try to do on & off the field. If I can be better tomorrow than I am today by surrounding my self with people who know more than I do then that is a win.
