Dawson Smith '21 Recruiting Profile

My greatest accomplishment in my high school football career thus far is to be able to compete in the 2019 Florida State Championship game.  My college year goal is to be a two sport athlete and earn a Business Management or Physical Therapy degree.  My teachers and coaches would say I'm a natural leader, passionate, coach able player.  Heart, determination and hustle are some of my key attributes as well.  I've always been a smaller guy that has fought through adversities to be a big play maker throughout my young career.  My passed coaches have installed in my mind that just because others are bigger doesn't mean they are better or tougher than me. This mindset has instilled determination to finish and never quit when times are tough on the field or in the classroom!  I have felt myself mature over the past year in the classroom and on the field and feel I can play and study at the next level.
