Colin Jackson '21 Recruiting Profile

I am excited to start my senior year in high school and was disaapointed we only played six games of the spring high school season.  I was 4-1 in 14 innings with 28 strikeouts, 1st in Hillsborough county based on IP.  My summer season has been great playing for the  Florida Heat managed by coaches Gary Sheffield and Reggie Williams with lots of reps.  We played some top teams and I was able to get hits for power from both sides of the plate, with reps pitching, 3B and 1B.   I am a highly motivated person who values hard work, academics, my family and being a person of good character. I bring a leadership presence into the club house by encouraging and supporting my team-mates and by setting an example.   I am a very respectful and mature young man who eagerly takes instruction from coaches and teammates so that I can continue to improve and mature my skills.  I will continue to play high school and 18U travel ball. Success at the college level is very important to me and I am looking to attend a school with strong academic programs that also provides me the opportunity to play competitive baseball.  I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
