Baseball has always been apart of my family to the furthest generations. Ever since my greatest mentor, my father, taught me how to play catch in my backyard I knew this game of baseball would change my life. Playing the game of baseball has taught me social and physical skills that no other sport could do. My two older brothers had always set the bar high when coming to baseball. But, at my age now I have surpassed the bar and reached a higher level of baseball than both of them. The real goal is to play at the "next level." Also, on the academic scale, it is my goal to be the first child of my parents to graduate college. In order to achieve that, I would have to graduate high school first. My goal is to graduate with a 3.8 GPA or higher with a honors diploma.
Playing at the collegiate level would change the student-athlete I am today. Off the field, I would strive to maintain exceptional grades while participating in other activities across the school. I may not be the biggest player, but you will have to look hard to find a more determined one. I plan on majoring in Athletic Training. Ideally, my athletic ability would immediately impact the team. Colleges in my home state of Florida are ideal. Which ever college I am blessed to play with, will be guaranteed to have a leader on and off the field.
