March 2020Personal Statement
I am currently a Junior at Southland Academy located in Americus, Georgia. I play 4 sports (baseball, football, basketball, and track) for my high school and have always loved competing in athletics. I have been involved with travel baseball for Five Star National in Tifton, Georgia and also AAU basketball under the guidance of my local varsity basketball coach. It is my goal to further my playing career by pursuing baseball in college like my father (GSW State University) and grandfather (University of GA) did.
I have a strong support system behind me with loving parents and a younger brother. I understand the importance of academics and hard work. This summer I have a mission trip planned to visit the Dominican Republic for 2 weeks. I have always loved playing in a team environment and hope to be given the opportunity to achieve my goal of playing college baseball.
