I have played every sport available to me since I was able to. I have found different loves for sports and made many new relationships with people I would have never thought of meeting without sports. I have won championships and titles as I've grown up, but I also have been through the thick of it. My sophomore year, I was our basketball teams point guard and we had an amazing regular season. We had high hopes for the playoffs and many people expected us to go as far was winning it all. But, we caught a bad draw for the first round the playoffs. We faced the #1 basketball recruit of the 2019 class which was Anthony Edwards. We ended up losing in the first round, but it taught me many things. I was humbled and I needed it. It made me realize that there will always be people working, and fighting for the same things I want. So if I want those things, I have to make sure I am always working harder than those people. I can't let other people out-work me for the things I want.
