Personal Statement

I am a senior at Starr's Mill High School in Fayetteville, GA. I am 5ft.8 in. 180 pounds. I have been playing baseball since age 4 and football since middle school, and really enjoy participating in both sports.I always give maximum effort at practice and in the weight room, and do extra workouts to keep myself ahead of the game.As a result of my commitment and training, I played JV baseball as a freshman and was pulled up to Varsity toward the end of the season, and was the starting left fielder as a sophomore and junior on Varsity. I was named Honorable Mention for our 2012 All-County Baseball Team. For football, I lettered as a freshman and started as a sophomore and junior. I have decided not to play football as a senior, but instead will spend my senior year playing at baseball showcases and camps. While I have not narrowed down a major or area I would like to play baseball at a college that will help me work toward my major. My athletic goal is to be a contributor to the team at an early stage and move into a starting role as quickly as possible. I look forward to the possibility of being part of a winning program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
