June 2020Personal Statement
I have wanted to play college baseball since I started playing travel ball at the age of 8. This desire continued to grow as I watched my brother sign and play at Emmanuel College (GA) a few years ago. I am now looking for a competitive program that will help me grow as a player and help me achieve my goal of graduating college with a degree in Nursing (RN) and Physical Therapy.
My road to success as a student-athlete has not been easy, but I have worked really hard to achieve my goals. My mother passed away as I was starting high school in 2018. I have not allowed what happened to me to stop me. I have over a 3.5 GPA, excel in the classroom and athletically. I was named 8-AAAAA All-Region Honorable Mention as a Freshman. I let Johnson High School in all major hitting categories in our Covid shortened season as a Sophomore.
I bring several qualities to a college program. I am a great listener. When a coach wants me to make an adjustment, I can execute it. I have been a quiet leader as an underclassman. I lead by example with my attitude and effort. I have great baseball knowledge and competitor. At 15, I played for the Nationally Ranked 17U East Cobb Astros. I have always played at the highest level of competition and do not back down from the best.
