My high school career has had its up and downs. I have had to overcome injury and not being able to play the game I love. My sophomore year I think I grew the most as a player and an individual. This was my first time ever being injured and not being able to play and help my team was a true heartbreaker for me. But this time being injured, turned around my perspective on the game and how much I really love it. My time away from the game also gave me a new desire to get better and work on my skills.
I was fortunate enough to feel what it is like to make it to state playoffs. I have learned a lot about commitment to the program and being a team player, and realizing I am not the only one on the field. I will take this mindset and determination into my next few years of high school and hopefully college. My goal is to play at the collegiate level. I'm looking for a school that will challenge me athletically but more importantly as a student and an individual. The lessons I have learned in high school have taught me how to be a hard worker, a leader and know that I have what it takes to play at the next level!
