Sage Medeiros '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sage Medeiros.  I will be in the graduating class of 2026.  I have always been homeschooled in the great state of Idaho. I have always been athletically inclined.  I was riding a two-wheel bicycle by the age of two.  My parents tell me I have always gravitated towards balls.   As a toddler, I would sit on the ground and bounce the ball while other kids had no interest in them.  I then became interested in football.  At three years old I was in our living room creating football games with myself to the amusement of my mother.  My parents then enrolled me in soccer.  I dominated the field and was penalized for it.  Next at seven years old, they enrolled me in baseball.  In my first at-bat, I hit a home run.  I fell in love with baseball and didn’t want anything else to do with soccer.  That fall I was introduced to basketball.  I found that I had a natural ability and love for basketball. Starting in fourth grade I played club/travel ball for both baseball and basketball. I have such a love and passion to play sports.  I work hard off the court/field to be the best athlete I can be no matter which sport I am playing.  I have found that what makes me different from other players is my ability to stay calm under pressure. I have the drive, dedication, and desire to play ball at a high level and will continue to put in the hard work, academically, and athletically to make that possible.
