I have been running cross country and track for almost my whole life and aspire to continue pursuing the path of athletics and higher academics. I would like the chance to competitively compete at the collegiate level and see where it can take me. As a college student I also want to study environmental sciences and/or politics. I live in the small town of Sandpoint ID and want to use my academic and athletic talent as a way to get out and go to a bigger school. I would be a great candidate for their team because I am hard working, flexible, and reliable. This year on the cross country team I greatly improved and this came from never missing a practice and giving %100 at all practices. I am captain of the crosscountry and track team as well and will be for two out of my four years of highschool. Also, the job I had this summer had a very scattered schedule and there were never set dates but I still managed to get in all the days that I was scheduled for. I am different from other recruits in many ways the first being that I have been running since I was nine. I was involved in a USATF program that allowed kids to competitively compete with other kids their age. I did this program for four years and was very dedicated to it all four years. In the case of academics, I have always been on honor roll and have never settled for a grade lower than an A in all my years of school.
