I have been playing baseball since I can remember. I love the game. I love the pure game without all the drama. This is my senior year and I am really enjoying it. On my XC team I ended up being our 5th runner on the team that went to state and placed 17th (The best a guys team has placed in school history). I improved my running from my freshman year when my time was over 32 minutes to now being able to run at state at a time of 16:58 for the 3 mile course. I am in the best shape of my life and cannot wait for baseball to start up. This is going to be a great year. I really believe in giving back to kids younger than I am and enjoy doing that, whether it be much younger kids in grade school, or team mates.
I am a 3 letter sport athlete at Charleston High School. As I said, I play baseball, and run cross country, and also play basketball. On days when we don't have basketball practice, I have continued my running to go out and run 3-5 miles with the distance team for track. Cross training has helped me greatly in my sports.
I really want to play baseball in college, I don't believe that High School will be the end of my time on the field. I would also be open to playing basketball or even running cross country. I only hope that my abilities will help me to get there. I would like to look into Education when college comes along or perhaps Kinesiology. As with every kid, I would love to be a professional athlete at some point in my life, I also believe that Coaching could also be a good possibility.
I have been fortunate to have some great coaches in school ball and have learned many things from them and Legion baseball. I look forward finishing strong during my senior year at CHS!
Thanks for taking time to look and read this.
