My competitive nature and my long standing passion for actively playing the sport is what pushes me to want to continue my athletic career in college. Through these last couple years, I have learned a lot about the sport and have created a strong soccer IQ and situational experience. In addition, I have become a versatile and coach-able player, since I have played many positions over the years and learned new skills or concepts very quickly. Being able to run for long periods of time with good speed, I have good endurance and athleticism, qualities that are essential for the sport of soccer.
From a young age, I have been a hard worker with a plan-to-action mentality. My parents have inspired me to try a lot without fear of failure and be driven, while also valuing my integrity. My maturity has grown tremendously in the past couple years for a high schooler, since I have taken on many hard class while still maintaining a 4.0 GPA, playing club soccer 2-3 times a week, playing varsity golf and basketball everyday from August to February, but still keeping up a social life and enjoying my teenage years. It has taught me time management skills and responsibility in order to get all my work to a standard of my liking.
I look forward to continuing my academic and athletic career at an institution that will challenge and support my future endeavors, as well have likeminded values.
