My name is Christian Beal and I am from Flossmoor IL. I am a 5'8 and 165 pound SS/2nd baseman. I hope to go to a very good academic and baseball school that will challenge me on the field and in the classroom. I want to be leader and a captain on the field and in the classroom at the college i attend. I believe i am a vocal leader and I'm extremely confident in my abilities on the field. I play with a lot of energy and always will have a smile on my face. My faith in God is a huge part of my life and is the reason why I am the person and player I am. I want to win but I believe in order to win everybody on the team has to be a family so whatever college team I'm on, i will make sure we are all a family and everybody is in a good mood all the time on the field and off!

- Christian Beal is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Flossmoor, IL who attends Marian Catholic HS. Has a medium frame, athletic build, plenty of room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional muscle. Posted a 6.95 60-yard dash. From the infield, showed good hands, quick footwork, and good lateral range to both hand and glove side. made accurate throws across the infield with arm strength up to 82 MPH. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide base and a slight bat wrap. Has a short, compact swing on a line drive swing plane with some lift at the point of contact. Showed a good feel for the barrel and repeats swing mechanics well. Good instincts on the ball field. Excellent student.
