My interest in baseball began at an early age when my dad gave me a bat for my first birthday. My love for the game continued as I overcame the challenges in the game as I moved to different levels. It’s the challenge that I’ve grown to love.
I imagine my college years to be a personal growth period for me. My goal is to explore an English major that will position me for a career in Journalism. On the field, I plan to be a great player and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college baseball career, I will strive to be an asset to the infield. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, coaches and the school I attend.
My perseverance to be a great student-athlete motivates me to work harder and do better each and every day. Today I’m a great player but I know the best is still to come.
