My collegiate goal is to graduate with a meaningful degree in a field that inspires me to get out of bed in the morning and go to work. At the same time, I want to be on the bottom of the dog pile in the final game of the NCAA Baseball College World Series in Omaha.
The best teammates are the very few that push you to be better. Their performance is the ultimate yardstick. No matter how hard I try, if I reach my goal but did not outperform my peers, the achievement feels hollow.
I’m not familiar with the other recruits so I find it difficult to describe what makes me different. I can tell you that of the people I do know, I am the most dedicated and focused. I distance myself from those who would jeopardize my goals. It’s a wasted day if I’m not working to make myself a better athlete. I recognize that education is my path to success no matter what level of competition I ultimately end up playing. I have a vision of my future and I will continue to eliminate any distraction that interfere with my journey to get there.
