George Nahabedian '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a passionate, hard-working student-athlete striving to excel in both the classroom and playing field.  My academic and athletic records reflect that.  When I encounter difficulties, I strive to correct them and am not afraid to look for assistance from my teachers and coaches.

I enjoy the daily grind as much as the games. From a very young age I competed successfully with and against opponents older than I on both the baseball diamond and basketball court, including my high school seasons thus far. I have welcomed those challenges and enjoyed success in the field and at the plate. I am entering my senior year with a 4.8 GPA and eventually my fourth season as the starting shortstop on our Varsity team, earning All-Conference accolades for my junior season. Additionally, after two seasons of playing in the toughest basketball conference in the State of Illinois, and one of the toughest in the country, as a starter on both the Freshmen and Junior/Varsity teams, I decided to stop playing during my Junior year due to both COVID-19 restrictions and a desire to place greater concentration on off-season baseball training. 

I strive to take my baseball abilities as far as they and my hard work will take me.  I aim to find an opportunity that will provide me with a great college experience, one that will fit and challenge my academic and athletics desires to compete for and against the best while learning from my teachers, coaches and peers.  I look forward to representing my school well both on campus and in the community.
