Charlie Hynes '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a junior at Saint Ignatius College Prep and I am looking to continue my academic and athletic career at the collegiate level. I love baseball because it is a team sport, but it also is a test of an individual’s mental toughness, grit and competitive spirit. When I am on the mound, I must trust the players behind me on the field, but I also know that sometimes the outcome is determined by me and the batter – who wants it more? This is what makes baseball unique and why I enjoy it. I am a high achieving student who not only gives his all on the field, but in the classroom as well.
