Dawson Short '23 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has been my focus for so many years.  While in High School, during the off-season, I am at the training facility hitting, throwing, and lifting weights four days per week.  I always look for areas to improve my game.  I am a utility player, I am versatile in the infield and outfield, and I will give 100% effort no matter what position you ask of me.  I will play where ever it will most benefits the team.  My work ethic and character are what sets me apart from other players.  I am the first one at practice and the last one to leave.  I also strive to help the underclassmen develop and expand their skills. My college goal is to achieve a Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Forestry.  After college, my dream is to work for the Department of Natural Resources or USDA as a Wildland Firefighter.
