When I am on the field, I am a level headed player. I always tell myself not to get too high and don't get too low. I have good emotional skills. I stay calm even if something doesn't go my way. I don't like to celebrate until the last out of the game. I am one of the most competitive players in the world. Many of my friends and family members will agree with that statement. If I am hanging out with my friends and we decide to have a cornhole tournament, I will try my hardest to win and may even start up a little trash talk. However, if I lose I will accept defeat and tip my cap to my opponent.
I take academics very seriously. I strive to try my best every day and succeed in everything I do. I am hard on myself, but I see this as a positive quality. I will not stop doing something until I achieve it. I am the kid in class who asks the teacher for one more example or one more question just to make sure I understand what I am learning.
I would add some positivity to a dugout and just an overall better vibe throughout. I look forward to going out on the field every single day. Even if it is below freezing outside. I have drug out my friends outside to field groundballs before in 30-degree weather. I love the game and always enjoy the people I surround myself with in this sport. I expect nothing in that aspect to change in college.
