I love sports! While I have tried every sport and continue to play several, BASEBALL is my passion. I am determined and eager and I find that my greatest memories to date are on the field. While I excel at the infield, I have always told my coaches that I am available to play any position that can help my team and benefit my team. An example is when our starting catcher went down early in the year during my freshman season at my high school. I had already made the A team as a 1st Baseman, second baseman, shortstop, and third baseman. I informed my coach that I had experienced at the position and that I would be willing to cover that position if he needed me to so that, I ended up as the starting catcher for the remainder of the year and assisted my team to a successful season. I believe that being a part of a successful team is more important than any individual stat. And, to quote the USA Hockey Gold Medal coach, I also believe that the name on the front of the jersey is more important than the name on the back!
My goal in high school is to better my skills, help my teammates, and advance to the next level in my career: college baseball. I want to be the best person I can be and chose a program that is right for me and where I can make an impact on the team.
