The highlight of my high school career so far has been being a starter on the varsity team and helping lead those teams to sectionals both in my freshman and sophomore years. I have been on three different travel teams, and on each one I was either the three or four hitter. Being on a few different teams has helped me learn how to make connections and how to work well with others. I learned how to fit in and become an effective team member for each of those teams.
Academics are also important to me. I have taken multiple honors and STEM related classes during my first two years of high school. I‘ve also taken a dual credit class and have earned college credit. I believe athletes need to not only give their best on the field but must also give their best in the classroom.
