My name is Austin Ford from Sandwich high School in Sandwich Illinois. I love the community that I grew up in and I am very grateful that the friends and family in my community support me going forward in life. I grew up playing baseball with my friends at the local ball fields and that's when I discovered my talent. I started to train and dedicated all my free time to the sport. I started to play competitive baseball and loved it, I started to make goals and I started to exceed my goals. I am a very sociable person and I have been told before that I am a great leader not only on the field but also in the classroom. I look to be happy and successful in life. I have been a straight A student nearly my whole school career. I have been told the high school is a whole different type of school but I am excited to get started and I am very confident that I will do great. My major feats in baseball are that I was selected to play on the Disney team for Game Day USA at the ESPN Wide World of sports. I also took first place in the Hit, Pitch, and Run competition at the team level. I am always looking to up my game and my education. I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college baseball career,I will strive to be an asset to the pitching rotation, infield and batting line up. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry my self reflects the team, my coaches and the school I attend.
