My goal is to play baseball at the college level and beyond. I am very confident of my abilities and am looking for a Program with coaches who will help me on my journey to the next level.
I had Tommy John surgery in July of 2022. That caused me to miss most of the 2022 summer season, and my 2023 high school season. My recovery from Tommy John surgery is over and now I'm playing baseball. I had to take a lot of time off and completely rehab my throwing arm. That included strengthening the muscles surrounding my elbow, rebuilding my shoulder, and practicing mobility exercises to increase my range of motion. Every day was grueling, but I knew it would with be worth it in the end. Now that I'm back on the field, I feel great. I'm having a blast working on my mechanics and getting back to where I was before.
I am so thankful for all the support I got from family, friends, coaches, and trainers during my recovery process. It's impossible to do something like this without them; they really kept me motivated and helped push me towards success. Knowing that someone has your back makes the journey so much easier.
Now that I'm back to playing, it's important that I keep up with my strength and mobility exercises. It's not enough to just show up to practice and throw; I must stay ahead of any potential injuries by taking care of my body. That means stretching regularly, doing agility drills, and working on improving my mechanics. I'm determined to have a successful season and stay healthy!
I can't wait for what's next in my baseball career. I've committed to play for Quincy University, one of the top 10 DII programs in the country.
No matter what happens in life, baseball has always been there for me. It's a part of who I am and I'm so grateful for that. As long as I keep working hard and never give up on myself, anything is possible! That's why I'm so excited to continue my journey and see what the next phase of my baseball career will bring. Here's to a summer travel season full of growth, success, and maybe even some wins!
