I love sports. I especially love baseball. I aspire to be play D1 baseball in college, while obtaining a Bachelor degree supportive of an advanced degree in Sports Management. I can't imagine a career that doesn't involve baseball in some aspect.
I am determined. I am a leader, a supportive like-able teammate, and a good student to my Coaches. I strive to be better by practicing skills, studying the sport, working out and eating right. I am confident, but understand and respect humility. I thrive under pressure, and pull through in clutch situations. I have shown this in all sports I have participated in - baseball, basketball, football, and soccer.
I am intelligent, but need to apply my sports work ethic to my academic life. My GPA is not reflective of my ability - but it will be going forward! Middle school was eye opening. Prior to grade 8, being an A student required little effort. I am now clear I have to apply extreme effort to academics. I have changed my habits, and my upcoming freshman year will reflect my improved academic work ethic.
I will do whatever it takes to achieve my baseball goals and dreams. I know it will be hard work, but I will make it happen with the support of my family and Coaches. Thank you.
