My collegiate goals are to continue playing baseball at a competitive level where I can further develop on the baseball field as well as in the classroom. I enjoy school, particularly math, and aspire to become an engineer. I work hard in the classroom because academics are important to me and I value knowledge, a possession that I believe can rarely, if at all, be lost or taken away. I believe knowledge is power and want to take full advantage of every opportunity where learning is promoted, both in the classroom and on the baseball field.
I am a hard-working, dedicated catcher who values feedback and appreciates the knowledge and expertise of others. I am continually striving for improvement and will commit to the work that is required for continued growth and development. I am a supportive and encouraging teammate and in search of a challenging and supportive program. I am not afraid to put in hard work and pushed beyond my academic and athletic comfort levels.
I believe that I have the mental strength and fortitude to not only push beyond my physical and mental weaknesses in order to grow, but also to recognize my failures as learning opportunities, both on and off the field. I will work hard for my team, be a supportive teammate and a coachable player. I will represent the team and the school with only the highest of standards.
