Hello Coaches! My name is Samantha White , and I am a 2025 Outfielder. I am a Natural Lefty and able to soft slap, power slap , hit , bunt, drag bunt or whatever the situation calls for. I am from Saint John, Indiana, and I attend Andrean High School . I lettered and played (3) Varsity Sports ( Softball , Basketball & Golf ) . I also ran 100 & 200 Meter Track in grade school but had to give it up in High School. Although I enjoy being a Multi-Sport Athlete my true love is Softball.
I started playing Softball when I was 4 years old in Saint John Softball. By the time I was 5 I was playing 8U and at 6 was fortunate enough to play 8U All-Stars. Since that Summer All-Star Team Softball has been my passion. By 9 years old I wanted more Softball and convinced my Dad and other Coach/Instructor Leslie Iwema ( who played Softball at Butler University ) to start a Travel Ball Team. That Organization was founded as Outsiders Softball and is now part of the BatBusters Indiana. Unfortunately Leslie's daughter and half the Team was a little younger so we split up after 4 great years. I played for the NWI Sox 14U Program last year as a 13 year old and like before most girls were split up by age. I believe all things happen for a reason and God has found My Family and I a great new home. That home is with a Team of 12 Elite players and Great Families called the NWI Storm Elite Dujmovich 14U. I have loved the times and relationships I have built through Sports and thankful for all of them.
This has been a amazing Freshman year at Andrean High School and I was fortunate to start as the Varsity Center Fielder. Defense has always been exciting to me and being able to help my pitchers and run down balls in the gaps is a awesome feeling. I batted at leadoff , in the 2 hole , 9 hole and even times as the 4 hitter. Whichever spot the Team needs me is fine with me. And I'm thankful for every one that God has provided.
I also love to compete in the classroom. My Mother is a Teacher and has installed a great work ethic for me in the classroom. I take several AP Classes and carry a 4.0 grade point average.
It is a Dream of mine to play College Softball and with Gods Grace and Gifts He has given me, I hope to work hard and make that Dream come true. Thank you for your time.
