Like many others, I have wanted to play baseball in college for as long as I can remember. This has been a goal of mine since I was little, following my sisters around from ball field to ball field.
So much of baseball is about individual stats, but I also enjoy the team aspect and camaraderie as well as the life long bonds that are made from being part of a team.
One thing I am able to do is to step back from a situation and look at it from different perspectives. I look at the whole picture and am willing to step out of my comfort zone and take on tasks and new positions if it’s in the best interest of the group or team. I tend to take on leadership roles in both the classroom and in athletics.
