I love the game of baseball and I have been playing since I was four years old. I have dreamed about playing college baseball for my entire life and work very hard in hopes of playing at the next level.
I am a 5' 9” 180 LB power hitting catcher with great instincts, mechanics and knowledge of the game, but I am always looking to absorb additional knowledge from other players and coaches.
I love to compete and enjoy the mental challenges that come with the sport of baseball. I consider myself a leader and supportive teammate with every team I've ever played for. I have always been a hard worker and I am relentless in chasing my athletic and academic dreams.
I currently have a 3.5 GPA and I am taking AP and honors level classes. I do not have a preference on where I go to school as long as it is a good school for me academically and athletically. I take great pride in my academics to hopefully get into a great college or university to continue my education.
I also work tirelessly to improve my baseball skills with the additional work below weekly.
-Baseball specific weight training and conditioning 3 days per week
-Catching fundamentals and agility training 2 days per week
-Hitting Lessons weekly
-Average of 5 hours per week of cage hitting with Hit Trax

- Demetri is a very solid catcher who has a promising future on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body through the blocking process, centering balls well out front and throws with accuracy. At the plate, he continues to shine through a tall, squared setup. Hands are quick...works through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop.

- 05/20/2018 - Gambrills, MD Demetri worked out at 3B and Catcher during his last workout with the Factory. Defensively, Demetri has good hands, quick release, aggressive actions, and he fields in a low position. He presents his glove well, his exchange is clean, and he throws with a very good arm action with accuracy to his target. Offensively, Demetri is a very solid hitter, he has a balanced approach, and fast bat speed. He swings in good rhythm, makes hard/consistent contact, and has good pop in his bat.
