Billy Wheatley '19 Recruiting Profile

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Billy Wheatley nicknamed Billy Baseball and I am a a recent graduate at Stephen Decatur High School in Berlin Maryland. (2018 Near Ocean City Maryland on the Eastern Shore) I currently am a excellent academic student athlete and was taught early on that grades come first. I am called since age 4 Billy Baseball and in recent years Billy Machado for my play at 3rd and First base. In my pursuit to improve my baseball craft I chose to attend Scotland Campus a Post Graduate School. I have successfully gotten Bigger, Stronger and Faster as a baseball athlete while playing for the Scotland Knights Baseball Team. We have played numerous Junior College teams. Early in 2018 I attended the Perfect Game Non-Committed College World Baseball Tournament and was named to the top 25 players out of 600 attendees. I already have had an amazing career both in Little League and Travel Ball. My teammates and I won 7 straight Maryland Little League State Titles, (Up to 2017) 1 Regional (2014), and appeared twice on ESPN and national audience including age 12 in Connecticut and age 13 in Livermore California at the Intermediate Little League U.S. Championship game. I have won too many travel tournaments to mention here but am proud of my achievements on the diamond thus far. I do hope to play Major League Baseball but my education is important to me as well and I intend to finish college. I am interested in Pre-Med, or Psychology.  I also have played all three sports at my High School Football, Baseball, and Basketball. I was a starting Quarterback, in my Senior Year.  I also have Played Fullback, Tight End, Defensive End, Outside Linebacker. I have played Football as long as baseball but they don’t call me Billy Baseball for nothing. I played Basketball as well Power Forward, Center  but chose not to n my senior year to focus on Baseball. I have always and continue to train and play Baseball year round. So I would love to talk to you personally about the possibility of playing for you. I am proud of my baseball achievements thus far and value and education and look forward to growing both academically and as a player for you. All I Do Is Win!
