Being able to go to playoffs as a freshmen and sophmore was a great experience. I feel that I grew as a student-athlete because I got to play with all the older guys and gained more knowledge from them and our Varsity coaching staff. I grew as a person in whole. Also, that experience has helped me re-focus my efforts on becoming a pitcher that is capable of playing at the college level. I am looking for a program that will be a great athletic and also academic fit for me. I love the sport of baseball, but I also realize getting a good education is what is going to propel my future. I am also a two sport athlete (basketball and baseball) and I feel I have great leadership capabilities. I was captain of the JV basketball team my sophmore year and was moved up to Varisity during playoffs. I also know work has to be done outside of practice. Conditioning and continuing to learn how to develop as a great pitcher is something I take serious.
