I am a student athlete with a drive to become the best person and player possible. Baseball is one of the biggest parts of my life and my family's life. My earliest memories baseball are playing wiffle ball with my father to practice hitting, though I began to set goals when I played Triple A in little league. Every day, I strive to work harder and overcome obstacles in my path, such as an endeavor to hit the ground running after an injury. Through baseball, I have not only learned leadership and teamwork skills, but also no matter what happens, I have to stay mentally strong. As a catcher, my biggest strength is receiving. I receive with soft hands and turn borderline balls into strikes. When I block, I funnel the ball in front of the plate to make for a quick recovery. With an average.65 transfer time, throws downs to second are accurate, strong and will improve as my arm gets stronger. At the plate, I am a gap to gap hitter with the ability to consistently hit mid 80's to low 90's with wood.
