My name is Collin Arsenault. I am currently a junior at Dracut High School. I have a 4.64 GPA and that includes all Honors and two AP classes. I'm a multisport athlete, having played Varsity Football, Varsity Baseball and basketball. Having played consistently since the age of 5, I fell in love with baseball. I started with the town rec leagues and have earned a starting position at shortstop on Varsity since my sophomore year after losing my freshman year to COVID. I am also a starting middle infielder for my showcase team, Show New England led by Steve Lomasney. I give back to the Dracut community and the baseball community by volunteering my time to help coach the younger teams various clinics.
My goal is to obtain a degree in either the science or business field at a four-year school that I can also play baseball at. At this point, I am not concerned so much with the division level, I just would love the opportunity to play another four years of baseball.
Something that separates me from a lot of athletes my age is definitely my work ethic and drive. Not only do I take my grades seriously, but also my physical development and athletic performance. I am honest with myself and have high expectations. I put in the extra work when needed and never have to be pushed or motivated. On top of team practices, I put in additional hours of skill work as well as mobility work and stretching. I try and maintain a healthy lifestyle which includes a healthy diet. I also hit the gym at least 5 days a week. Because of my consistentcy and success in the gym, I was chosen to lead the Varsity Baseball workouts at our team lifts. I have also had friends and teammates ask for my workout routines or advice on how to lift.
Utimately, I would love to play four more years of baseball anywhere.
