Alex Duffy '21 Recruiting Profile

I am part of the 2021 graduating class and I am looking forward to playing baseball during my college career and beyond. 

I started playing baseball in my living room with a wooden spoon and a rolled up sock, "sock ball " and I have been in love with the game ever since.  From the living room floor to the baseball diamond , from T Ball  to Legion Ball the thrill of being part of the team and part of something bigger than myself is what fuels my passion and love of the game. 

The challenge:mentally and physically; the opportunity to grow: personally and as a team member and the drive to achieve my personal best each and every time I take the field is how I approach practices and games.  My parents have always encouraged me to be a leader, be in the top 10% and set the standards and pace for personal excellence.  I have been taught not to focus on being the "best" yet being my personal best and to continually strive to improve my personal best through determination, training, effort, a positive attitude and humility.  My coaches have always commented on my positive attitude, my willingness to play any position as needed,  and my coach-ability. 

I will be an excellent addition to you roster as I am a well rounded team player; I posses impeccable work ethics,  I am a positive team leader and my willingness to excel in  all areas of the sport.
