Wyatt Copp '20 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Wyatt Copp, I play shortstop for my Varsity Baseball team. Right now, my priorities are raising my GPA and improving on the baseball field. Early in the season, I struggled performing in clutch moments for my team, making errors at costly moments. But, with support from my teammates and my coach, I have been great defensively. I still am a little uncomfortable on the road, all 5 of my errors are on the road, and I'm perfect at home. I'm working on that issue as well. At the plate, my focus was to strikeout at little as possible. Now, that I'm making contact 76.2% of the time, I'm looking to hit the baseball hard. And hopefully after I accomplish that, I will really look to start finding holes in the defense to bring up my Avg. I love playing baseball, talking about baseball, watching YouTube videos about baseball. Playing baseball in college would mean everything to me, and when I look long-term, that is what I'm striving for.
