I would make a candidate for any baseball team because I practice hard, I'm a supportive teammate, and I love to get better. When I'm at practice the main thing I work on is my form. I know that I could take hundreds of reps at shortstop but if I'm using the wrong technique it was a waste of time. I've learned that in baseball you can't take shortcuts and that its better to play the game the right way even if it means trying a new way of doing something. That being said I love making the people around me better. Often after practice I gather a group of motivated players, who either dream of playing under the lights at Fenway Park or have never heard of the Red Sox, just like me they want to get better. Sometimes we take extra reps in the infield or outfield and other times we take batting practice. I'm different from other recruits because I take school just as seriously as baseball meaning that I work as hard as I can to succeed in both. Now that I have taken the same work ethic I use on the diamond into the classroom I have been amazed with the results.
