Hello, My name is Maxwell Morotti. Baseball has been my passion since I was 4 years old when I started T-Ball. My parents saw my love of the game and how I had memorized each player's number and hitting stance on the Boston Red Sox at a very young age and have done everything to support me on this journey.
My short term goal is to play at the next level and I am willing to work hard and do what it takes to get to that point. I am strong acedemicly with a current gpa of 3.764. I take honors classes and plan to load up on science classes this school year. I am respectful to teachers, coaches, and adults in general. I have an outgoing personality, and always seem to get along great with my past and current coaches and teamates.
I am 6"1 and 180 pounds going into my junior year of high school. I have a late July birthday which makes me one of the younger students in my grade. I started playing JV in 7th grade and have been playing at the varsity level for my high school team sice 8th grade, where I am a pitcher and third baseman. For my AAU team I primarily pitched, played first, and corner outfield. I have played many different positions over the years which helps me read the field well and anticipate plays. This year I was recognized as one of the "Greater Fall River's best baseball players:The 2021 Herald News All-Star team." Which was really exciting for me and just validates that all of my hard work is paying off.
I would like to play baseball at the next level while also obtaining a degree in Physical Therapy. I feel like in the future Physical Therapy is a way to always keep baseball in my life. Although playing at the highest level of baseball is my ultimate dream.
When I'm not on the field, my other hobbies include playing high school basketball, summer basketball league, working out, and spending time with friends and family. I hope that you will look at my page and see an athlete that is willing to work hard for you and help your school bring home some wins!
Sincerely,
Maxwell Morotti
