Anthony Izzo '21 Recruiting Profile

From an early age, I have been playing competitive sports. Having a father who played professional baseball and is a high school teacher, I have been taught the value of hard work and motivation both academically and athletically. My strong family upbringing has helped shape me into a focused, empathic person.

Academically, my high school goals have been to maintain a minimum 4.0 GPA, score above 1400 on my SAT, score above 30 on my ACT, and become a National Honor Society member. Athletically, my high school goals have been to become a starting quarterback, starting shortstop, and team captain. Having accomplished all of these academic and athletic goals by my Junior year, I believe I have the talent, work-ethic, leadership skills, and character to compete at the collegiate level.
