Nicholas Sotiropoulos '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nicholas Sotiropoulos, I’m  a rising senior at Doherty Memorial High School in Worcester, Mass.

I've been playing baseball for as long as I can remember - after T-ball. My mom waited until after t-ball to sign us up because she said she couldn't take the agony of watching paint dry! We practiced/played whiffle ball for hours in the backyard. Only during my first "real" game did I realize you couldn't throw the ball at someone to get them out - that's what we did at our house.

I'm an avid Sox fan - obviously. I can't wait until the Woo Sox are here in Worcester in 2021....same time I'll be graduating - totally exciting.

I want to play ball in the MLB - my dream. I also want to work in baseball "after" my career, whenever that might be.  My family loves going to the Worcester Bravehearts game....so much fun. My parents love going with all of us because it's affordable and they say the "kids" try harder as they're hoping to be discovered. 

I love hanging out with my friends, hanging at the baseball cages, traveling during the limited time during the summer with my family, and working to save money.

I'd love to play MLB but happy to play AAU during summer and high school ball. I'd love to drive an awesome Mustang someday but happy to have my grandmother's Ford Focus, and lastly - I'd love to go to FSU and play ball but I really want to play ball, anywhere they'd want me.
