My Name is Connor Hanson, and I am a 2022 graduate of Rosemount High School in Minnesota, playing for the Minnesota MASH’s top 17U Club Team. I am extremely proud to say, we recently finished Top 8 in the Atlanta, GA PBR Tournament.
When I think about my play type: Offensively, I am a contact hitter with a very high on base percentage, but also can drive the ball to the gaps for extra bases. Defensively, I can play anywhere in the outfield and have played occasional first base. Having speed I can track down balls and read the ball off the bat extremely well. My coaches have described me as a smart baseball player with a high baseball IQ. I am a team player and will do anything to help the team succeed. I also am a right handed pitcher. I’m the type of pitcher that doesn’t blow pitches by the batter, but I am more strategic, using the corners, mixing in change ups and curve balls to throw off the batters timing.
I am currently a junior at Rosemount High School in Minnesota and hold a 3.4 GPA. I played hockey up until this year before deciding to concentrate on baseball. I am also involved in Weight training, and speed programs.
