I am striving to first make and start on a college baseball team. I would plan on staying four years to complete college and graduate with a degree. I would want to lead my team to a College World Series appearance and build team Chemistry. My main goal in college would be to start for three of the four years I attended and played on the team, I would be willing to work much more than necessary to obtain and retain a starting position. What sets me apart from the average high school athlete is my ability to never say no and to not stop working towards a larger goal not only personally but for a larger group as well, I also like to think that i mesh well with most people and will not only hold my teammates accountable but myself as well thus building a better community. In the class room it is always my goal to work my hardest to not only get the best grade possible but also to retain the knowledge that is taught in the classroom. My final strength is my ability to understand the game of baseball at a higher level than most players, I have been told by many coaches that I have a very high "Baseball IQ' which refers to my ability to see a play as it happens and think far ahead of what is happening to best give myself and my team the opportunity to get extra outs, runs or even possibly win the game. While I play other sports, baseball is my passion. I believe that I have only begun to tap my abilities and look forward to finding a coaching staff and university environment that will help me develop as a player and as a person.
