The "Series" Personal Statement
One thing I love above soccer is that it allows me to be a part of something bigger than myself. I enjoy the game, but playing with and for my team will always be the best part. In college, I want to be part of a squad that strives towards not only being a good team, but being a better team than we were the day before.
I am self-motived and am always creating opportunities to improve. Although I've missed playing with my team during the COVID shutdowns, I've used the extra time to push myself personally by mastering new drills and bringing my technical abilities to new levels.
I pursue excellence and enjoy challenging myself both on and off the field. I plan to study mathematics or physics in college, as these are areas that engage my creative problem-solving abilities and reward my persistence. I look forward to attending a school that will offer opportunities to develop both my game and my academics.

- We practiced from October 2019 until February 2020, when we played in the "Desert Classic" tournament in Arizona. During that tournament, I started all three games and we finished with a 1-1-1 record. After that tournament, our season was cut short because of covid. We got back together in May, and practice/scrimmaged until the official end of our season in July 2020.
