I believe anything worth having comes from hard work and determination. I am growing up on a cattle farm where this idea supports my attitude. On the farm has taught me how to deal with stress, ability to be a leader, and the experiences to mature and be a team player through good and difficult times. I am taking all my experiences and applying to baseball.
Baseball is my passion and in my long term goals to play at a college level. For me to be the best for myself and my teammates I put forth additional effort by attending camps, weekly lessons, going into the gym on my own, more swings at home, as well as practicing pitching for accuracy. I listen intensely to coaches and my teammates for constructive criticism to finesse my personal game. I am open minded and support my teammates consistently. I strongly believe attitude plays a major factor in how I play, as well as my teammates and how successful my life becomes. I enjoy being the positive spirit on and off the field. I talk to my teammates the whole time we are playing, hitting, or just being a family. I do not feel that getting down on myself or my teammates ever helps. Teamwork, a positive attitude, dedication, and devotion are a few words that represent me.
