Jeter Valentin '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Jeter Valentin. I am 18 years old and from the Dominican Republic. I came to the United States to play baseball in high school. I was privilege to have received a scholarship to play baseball at Gateway Christian Academy in St. Louis. I just graduated this week with honors and had a fantastic baseball season.  I play short stop and I am a pitcher but I can play many positions. For this summer I am living with my aunt and uncle in Chicago and continue to play baseball with Benito Juarez Summer Men's league. My goal is to stay here and go to college, Once I become a permanent U.S resident I would like to join the Airforce to become a pilot.  But my ultimate dream is to play baseball professionally.
