Alex Castleman '21 Recruiting Profile

Looking forward to finishing the high school chapter of my life and my personal growth ahead during the college chapter, where my goals of studying Business and Human Resources; and playing baseball in college wait. My efforts are focused on being a positive example. My actions reflects my team, my coaches, and the school I attend. I am a role model for the next generation. My parents are the most influential element of my life. They have always told me to find my passion and pursue. With hard work and dedication I can do anything. They allow me to believe I can do anything I choose to do and every choice has a consequence. Today, my passions are a sports related business and baseball.

On the baseball field I lead by example with a team first mentality, rise to the challenge of higher competition. I am a great complement to any team. Baseball has helped me recover after failure and not carry it forward and every swing is a new challenge. I am a versatile player, I play where team needs dictate. Selected starter as freshmen and sophomore, batting 3^rd or 4^th. Have played 8 positions with primary position of 3^rd Base. I have an above average arm, hit for average, hit for power, and play above average defense. My achievements were recognized by being selected all district and all conference both as freshmen and sophomore. I am looking for a school to help me achieve my educational and athletic goals. I have the talent to compete at the highest level and can make an immediate impact on any program.
