Riley Christiansen '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I’m Riley and I'm a sophmore attending Fort Osage HS in the Independence, Mo. I have been playing baseball and football since I was 5.  I work hard in both sports. Baseball is my true love when it comes to sports though. I also work very hard on my academics and hope to be in a field were I can help people when I join the workforce. I am currently getting good grades (A’s and B’s) in all my classes and take a majority of honor classes to prepare me for college. I am 6"1 and throw/bat right handed (but like to practice with switch hitting). I have played third, short, second, outfield, and some pitching. I love the challenge of learning new positions when asked by my coaches. I have been on several teams throughout my baseball journey and every team enjoys having me and coaches love my positive can-do attitude. I have already competed with summer 18U teams as an 8th grader, and 16U AA tournament teams as well and was successful as both a teammate and player.  I look forward to meeting and speaking with college coaches and would invite you to either watch my portfolio videos or come see me play this spring/summer.
