Personal Statement

I have two main goals as a student-athelete going into a collegiant career one is getting a degree in an engineering field and the second is to continue my baseball career at the next level.

I believe i would make a good candidate for a collegiant roster spot because I get my grades taken care of and will continue to mature my baseball skills.

I feel that I am a different from other atheletes because I maintain my grades, i listen to what i am told to do, and I have been blessed with my physical ability.

Tryout at the Disney Elite 32 Baseball tournament the prior week (ESPN scouts watched games and made a tryout invite list) and an official tryout the last evening of the Elite 32 tournament after closing ceremonies. The team was comprised of the best players nationwide from various teams competing in the Elite 32 tournament who possessed the skills to compete in the All American tournament and who could stay on for the additional week with one day's notice.

Jacob was chosen to stay on for an additional week (the following week) and compete in the 2015 Adidas All American Baseball Tournament on the same property. The "East" team that was scheduled to show up dropped out at the last minute. Based on Jacob's Elite 32 performance and a tryout with the All American staff, Jacob was offered a roster spot.
